Roll base location is in either Chesterfield or City of London, however, currently no remote site ever Occasionally travel based (expected to continue due to lack of office space).

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior security advisor to join their growing technology team within cybersecurity.
Job Description
This role will directly interface with portfolio directors and program managers who are working through a large-scale roadmap of upcoming project demand, defining and building assurance activities (some start And ensure that effective and robust processes exist.
This role will oversee a (primarily) virtual team that will ensure that the workload is spread out and that all capabilities are properly managed Cyber Security Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business unit processes, systems, technologies, data, customers, clients, and partners.
Act as the primary security liaison / consultant for IT leadership and portfolio directors / business partners, infrastructure, architecture, etc.
Partnerships with local teams to achieve effective working relationships that can further enhance the effectiveness of the security program. Implement information security policies and standards in business units Cyber Security Consultant.
Technical implementation, monitoring and implementation of security solutions required to meet business objectives
Actively identify areas of non-compliance and potential improvement, and facilitate the development and deployment of standard solutions.

Engage with clients / customers as needed to help us achieve business objectives, representing our security program, supporting internal and external audits, assisting customer contact in the event of a security incident.
Provide regular and timely reporting on the cyber security situation in business units.
Assist in the implementation and translation of information security policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Significant experience in the same level of role within large organisations (FTSE100 or similar)
Provide a high level of confidence, consulting services, best practice and experience-based advice.
Specific experience in setting / defining and managing policies and frameworks (NIST) in enterprise size business.
Excellent relationship management skills and track record of productive relationships at the top leadership level in a complex, large-scale business.
