Duties Of A Cyber Analyst:

As a Cyber ​​Security Analyst in London, you will guide to protect our digital services from cyber-attacks, respond to incidents, and are valuable to all OS teams to alleviate our security subjects. You will help ensure we obey with our policies, provide advice and guidance to your colleagues, and, last but not least, support our critical cyber platforms.

Day-to-day this is a diverse and wide-ranging role that is responding to the security challenges of digital businesses and may include:

Regular tracking of our cyber response platforms for alerts and incidents. You will play main role in developing and enhancing these skills.

We are managing vulnerabilities and working with teams to resolve or mitigate them. Review existing and new software deployments.

We are continually looking for ways to mature our processes and improve our services, controls, and security.

We ensure that our controls are proportionate to risk and vulnerability and comply with standards such as Cyber ​​Essentials Plus, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and various NCSC standards.

Guiding staff and external stakeholders on compliance with our policies and standards. We are responding to requests and service tickets.

Skills And Experience:

Manage, collect and publish academic articles, and threat intelligence feeds.

Provide briefing and training to colleagues.

What we look for in our Cyber ​​Security Analyst:

If you are attentive in joining a committed, engaged team at the heart of OS delivery, we are looking for a solitary who can demonstrate:

Proven experience working in a similar role and a dedicated team.

Awareness of cyber tools such as SIEM, advanced malware protection, firewalls, and risk management.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of the IT “towers” found in a typical digital business (networks, servers, storage, end-user devices, mobile and applications, and all cloud equivalents).

Experience supporting cloud adoption and cloud security in Azure would be beneficial.

Good knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles.

Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards, including Cyber ​​Essentials, ISO 27001, Cloud Security, and 10 Steps of Cyber ​​Security.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Good analytical skills and reporting skills.
