Job Description of Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer within Fabric Core, you will be answerable for analyzing application experts, engaging our new cloud local application platform, building out the framework as code, constructing CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining production releases. You’ll be applying automation to deliver framework, and applications and completely automate our security and governance controls.
We will turn to you for suggestions on how to develop the platforms, procedures, and instruments. We expect that you currently have good ideas you can share at our DevOps Guild and industry Meetups. You monitor development teams to automate the collection of important application/system metrics and upgrade dashboards to show them.
We use many of the modest and greatest open-source instruments, so you will require to be comfortable with constantly learning new instruments and strategies along with running evidence of concept evaluations.
What Will You Bring as a Cloud Engineer ?
We are seeking engineers that currently possess some or all of the following skills:
- Regular upgradation/productivity Tooling such as Bamboo, Git,buildKite, Sonarqube, or similar
- Comfortable coding in one or more languages (Python, JavaScript, bash, Golang, etc)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift
- Proficiency with public clouds like GCP or AWS
- Framework as code via Terraform/Cloudformation
- Acknowledgment of TLS/SSL data encryption and authentication protocols
While none of our engineers have all the skills above, they do all code. The particular language and instruments used are not as important as your improvement skills and learning aptitude.
