Overview:
The newly created BI Developer/Analyst role is designed to:
Take user requirements and specifications and create useful reports and dashboards
Help users understand their data, reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create meaningful and usable reports and dashboards, with agreed specifications and/or direct input from users
- To help train users with questions about their data, reports or dashboards, to ensure that end users understand how to use new tools and to be exposed to them. Any problem that has to be solved.
- To help define and document key business metrics
- Liaise with internal database specialists to ensure timely, accurate and complete provision of information
- Acting as a key interface between the IT team and the wider business
- Act as a champion for IT solutions, helping to engage, adopt, Bi Data Analyst understand and develop new systems and processes.
- To help increase the overall IT and data literacy of the organisation
- Identifying risks of current processes and finding opportunities to improve them
key skills:
Ability to create reports and dashboards in one or more recognized technologies such as (preferred): Power BI including DAX, or SSRS/Qlikview
- Experience working in Azure reporting / data warehouse environment
- Ability to communicate clearly between various stakeholders including technical experts, senior management, head office support teams and non-technical/operational users
- Ability to effectively gather, summarise and disseminate information
- Ability to present information verbally, visually (eg in presentations) and in written form
Excellent teamwork skills

- Determination and tenacity to see things through to completion
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing tasks
- Knowledge of IT systems, architecture and procedures
- Systematic, methodical, thorough and logical approach

- Understanding GDPR legislation
