Looking for a career in Back End Web Development? Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking skilled developers to join its team in supporting web marketing initiatives. As a Back End Web Developer team member, you will focus on updating GCE’s marketing sites through CMS, APIs, and 3rd party integrations.
Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and implementing web enhancement strategies to improve user experiences and increase rankings, ultimately supporting the implementation of GCE’s comprehensive marketing strategy.
What will you do
Being a “Back End Developer” Remotely at GCE, you will have to do the things listed as
- Produce clean and efficient code as per given specifications.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Verify and deploy systems and programs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software.
- Act as a technical leader and participate in Agile workflow for planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
What you will need
As a “Back End Developer,” You will have the following things required,
- To qualify for this position, the candidate should possess at least two years of practical experience in web application development and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an institution accredited by the regional authorities.
- Five years of work experience in web application development with an unrelated bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Six years of work experience in web application development with an associate degree from an accredited institution
- Support the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
