Responsibilities As Azure DevOps Engineer UK:
The University is actively investing in Microsoft technologies and has created this role to drive the automation of environments, platforms, delivery and other Azure assets.
- Working with the Head of Development as Azure DevOps Engineer UK, you will be responsible for rapidly maturing the DevOps capability, improving automation with monitoring and quality, and introducing stability features such as auto-scaling/auto-healing.
- Other responsibilities and standards include:
- Implement CI/CD across the Azure estate, collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Consolidates existing monitoring and alerting capabilities in Azure that allow proactive management of key metrics such as availability, performance, capacity, security and quality.
- As an Azure DevOps Engineer UK, You have to manage to exist, build new and improve infrastructure as code in Azure.
- Ensure proper resources support ongoing development and deployment efforts, including testing.
Develop, advocate and champion best practice standards for DevOps on Azure platforms.
Moreover, Azure DevOps Engineer UK Assist where needed to resolve events and issues in the Azure state.
Adopt an open and knowledge-sharing approach to increase general awareness.
