Responsibilities:
- At the organizational level, provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the test automation discipline.
- Develop a communication plan around the test automation approach, the KPI/ROI framework, and the implementation roadmap.
- Set goals for both short-term and long-term automation of the SDLC phases.
- Close the gap between development teams, testing disciplines, and operational teams
- Provide in-depth understanding of numerous open source/commercial technologies for automating Web, Mobile, and Services
- Utilize Java, Spring Framework, Oracle, XML, JSON, JUnit, and JavaScript libraries to create and maintain applications.
- Processes for CICD, Dev Ops adoption, and operationalization should be designed and planned.
- Develop practical skills in DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
- Become an authority in developing and implementing common automation frameworks in line with contemporary business trends.
- Bring best practices for software quality testing, including test strategy, planning, execution, deployment, test data, defect tracking, and test automation.
- Provides assistance to junior to experienced automation analysts in the creation of automation scripts and the optimization of those test scripts.
- New tools, methods, and procedures are suggested in order to increase project/product quality and productivity.
- Determine the best ways to use test automation tools going forward for various products and applications by evaluating, selecting, and formulating them.
- Create an automated plan based on technical analysis, complexity, and reusability to assist regression testing.
- Manage the technological implementation of the roadmap for the suggested automated solution among project teams.
- Assist in the design and architectural reviews of suggested automation solutions made by different project teams, and to provide the automation solution’s long-term vision.
Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, an engineering degree, or comparable professional experience
- Having worked as a software quality assurance analyst for more than 12 years
- 8+ years of test automation experience
- Automation tool knowledge (Selenium, QTP/UFT, Tosca, etc.)
- Knowledge of tools for continuous integration (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, etc.)
- Knowledge of test management applications including ALM/QC, JIRA, and qTest
- Testing API expertise (ReadyAPI, Postman, etc.)
- A track record of designing and implementing test automation frameworks
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Experience:

- Python, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, expertise in programming languages
- Frameworks: Spring Boot and Node Js
- Tools for code management and building: Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Maven
- Frameworks: Webdriverio, Appium, Selenium JS, Selenium, Protractor, and Cucumber
- Docker/Kubernetes is a container and orchestration system.
- Methodologies for testing and working: BDD, TDD, CICD
- SQL and PL-SQL developer data
- Actual experience testing APIs using SOAP and RESTful components with Gherkin/Cucumber for BDD
