About the job

We’re seeking a skilled individual for the post of Associate Strategic Account to take charge of our connections with crucial Communication platform clients who utilize our messaging, voice, and email offerings.

As the Strategic Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to foster and expand Twilio’s communications business within your designated accounts.
Your role as a Associate Strategic Account will involve leading sales cycles that require careful analysis and consultation with customers who operate large-scale, global, compliance-focused, and use case-specific businesses, all while navigating competitive landscapes.
Success in this position relies on building robust collaborations with teams across various departments, such as product management, finance, support, and operations.

It would be best if you had the following responsibilities as an Associate Strategic Account at Twilio.

  1. Lead and expand significant Public Sector customer accounts.
  2. Devise and implement account strategies that result in consistent revenue, gross margin, and gross profit outcomes.
  3. Collaborate closely with other Twilio teams to pinpoint fresh revenue prospects in your account portfolio.
  4. Work as part of a cross-functional account team alongside finance, product, support, and services team representatives.
  5. Conduct thorough forecasting, meet or surpass objectives, and guide executive management.
  6. Engage in highly consultative sales cycles with our largest clients by intently understanding their needs and effectively advocating for their views within the organization.

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic or significant account sales, handling quantitative and analytical products and solutions for customers.
  2. Responsible for managing relationships, cross-selling, upselling, and providing solutions consultation.
  3. Capable of interacting with both technical and business leaders, building productive partnerships, and influencing their understanding.
  4. Formulates analytical account development strategies, utilizing data to identify opportunities and demonstrate value.
  5. Proven track record in managing business forecasts and financial models.
  6. Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and is eager to create processes and establish programs.
  7. Accomplished at delivering revenue and gross profit results, particularly for large-scale and enterprise customers.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.

We Need Extra

For the post of Associate Strategic Account you need the following things:

  1. Extensive background in working with telecom companies, which may include SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  2. Possesses domain expertise from a highly quantitative industry, such as advertising optimization, investment banking, healthcare, security, or commodity trading. This expertise may pertain to non-standard segments.
  3. Previous experience selling Software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS solutions.

  4. This position is also eligible for commission earnings.
