Job Description & Requirements of Application Support Analyst II jobs
- Monitors the customer’s existing products/processes and consults with the customer to map existing systems to the JHA product.
- Formulates the customer for the installation, takes the customer through the installation process, and offers training to the customer post-installation.
- Analyze/perform system set-up for a customer (i.e., parameter set-up, creating job files for processing, etc.).
- Make sure related business processes will run on software.
- Offers software support/guidance by answering questions on functions, designs, and implementation of software products.
- Application support analyst II must have Support may be at the customer site or remotely.
- Communicate the customer’s requirements with programmers, other team members, and team leaders.
- Identifies/supports customer problems and ensures proper resolution.
- Supports customer issue list by application and provides all appropriate personnel for checking.
- Must Formulate training materials and documentation for customers and internal users.
- May perform other job tasks as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
Must have at least 18 months of proficiency collaborating in a Windows Operating System environment supporting servers in the following categories: Service Desk and Network Support.
Must be professional with Basic networking proficiency (routing, switching, firewall, DNS).
Support for different Jack Henry customers.

Experience in an IT-related position within a Financial Institution.
General knowledge in the following areas:
Financial/credit union or related industry.
JHA products, similar competitor products, and understanding of application functions.
Computer skills with an understanding of applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. General knowledge of information systems.
Must know Business operations and procedures, including structures concepts, etc.
Must have Training or customer education proficiency.
