Role as 1st Line IT Support Technician in Uk:
As 1st Line IT Support Technician in Uk: First-line support for all internal IT issues and queries, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and, network configuration of all Encore IT systems.
Application support for third-party applications used in the business.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of company assets (computers, monitors, telecoms, printers, etc.) and software licenses purchased.
Procuring new IT and telephone equipment and regularly comparing suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
New Beginnings: User profile maintenance on all systems.
Network permissions and folder maintenance.
Internet Use: Monitoring and Reporting on Use.
Spam filtering: Spam quarantine checks for false positives, reducing false negatives.
Continuous maintenance, administration and improvement of Encore’s IT infrastructure.
Enrollment in an IT Level 2 or 3 Apprenticeship
Twenty-five days annual leave plus bank holidays accruing according to the length of service.

Full driving license and use of own car.
Previous experience providing IT help desk support would be desirable but is optional.
